This year, Ash Wednesday falls on 18 February, which is also the eve of Chinese New Year. The Archbishop has written a circular to all parishes stating that: “The Ash Wednesday Liturgy is to be observed while the fasting, abstinence and penance are left to the individuals.”
The schedule of Holy Mass with the imposition of ashes will be up soon.
